Gujarat Council of Education Research & Training - Gandhinagar is the institution at the state level. It works for quality development in education through different techniques. It constantly developing different tools for making education more effective and interesting.
In all the states we know that the NCERT syllabus is applied for different subjects. In the beginning, it looks a little complicated for the children to understand the concept of anything in the subject. But we hope that our children may be able to grasp the knowledge very well in all the subjects.
Under the GCERT 27 DIETS function in 33 districts in Gujarat. They all work for quality improvement in education. All the districts have the teachers or trainers who are best at their level. They are constantly sharing the best ideas with the respective teachers through different seminars, training, and workshops. Really we all are very much grateful to all of them for their service. Even in schools also we have the best teachers who are also constantly concerning education for the children. They are working very much hard to developed different techniques and TLM.
Today we know that the schools are becoming Smart Schools by Gyankunj Project. Even the children also find the learning of any tough subjects very much easy. Really it is the masterstroke in education in primary schools. Along with the class, our teachers and students are becoming very smart. We have Smart Class, Smart Schools, Smart teachers, Smart students. All are making their lives smarter by digital learning.
Even in textbooks also we find very much smart work. Our books have barcodes. The students have to just scan the barcode by hi/her smartphone and he/she is able to learn any topics on line. Such kinds of smart work are done in our primary schools. Really there is a great development in education by such a Government's Education department.
Reading is very much necessary in our life. It helps a lot to gain knowledge and to improve our life. In the same way in primary schools we have different types of sources of reading. Amongst them BalShrushti is a famous one. It is published every month by Gujarat Rajya Pathaypustak Mandal "Vidhyayan" Gandhinagar. Shree P. Bharti is a Director of Pathaypustak Mandal. Shree Ashish Borisagar is Deputy Director.
