Good news for Corona vaccine: AIIMS director says the vaccine in India may get approval for emergency use by January.

There is good news for the people of the country. Approval for emergency use of the corona vaccine may be available in late December or early January. Delhi- AIIMS Director Dr. Randeep Guleria informed this on Thursday.

Vaccination will then begin. In fact, work is underway on six vaccines in India. The Oxford-AstraZeneca and India Biotech vaccines are in Phase-3 trials.

The results of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine-Covishield Phase-3 clinical trials have reached international levels. Adar Poonawala, CEO of the Serum Institute of India (SII), which is making it in India, said last week that an application for emergency use would be sought soon.

China 4 and Russia 2 approved their vaccines before the completion of clinical trials. Britain has since approved the emergency use of the mRNA vaccine, developed on December 2 by US company Pfizer and its German counterpart Biotech.
