State Bank of India (SBI) has alerted consumers to banking fraud. The bank has advised customers not to share their personal details. The bank has given information about this through social media. Apart from this, if any such fraud happens to someone then that person can report cybercrime.






What did the bank say via social media?

SBI said that Thinkeshwar always keeps his personal information private. They always think twice before sharing their personal details with someone. Also, if such a case occurs, complain about it at https://cybercrime.gov.in.


Do not share this information:


SBI has asked not to share PAN details, INB credentials, mobile number, UPI PIN, ATM card number, ATM PIN, and UPI VPA with anyone.

Alerts customers periodically:

From time to time, the bank keeps alerting its customers about online fraud through social media. A few days ago, the bank asked people to be vigilant through WhatsApp calls or messages.

  • Never share your personal banking details with anyone.

  • Keep changing your account password.

  • Do not disclose your Internet banking details to anyone by phone, email, or SMS.

  • Never click on suspicious links.

  • Always depend on the official website of SBI for information related to any bank.

  • Report the fraud to the local police officers or the nearest SBI branch.
