Gujarat Council Of Educational Research And Training Gandhinagar is an institution at the state level for the progress of education at primary and secondary schools. GCERT is always trying to improve different techniques of teaching by different activities. Recently we have found an approach like Parivarno Malo for primary school students. Digital Desk is also such a program for the students and teachers. Just now we have such conditions that educational institutions are remaining closed due to COVID 19.

The Internet has a great impact on our lives. From very small to big issues one can get the information through the internet. In simple words, we can say that we are dependent on the internet. The Internet has vast information on everything.



Nowadays it becomes a common practice to get help from the internet. Students from worldwide get connected themselves to the internet to get information about their subjects. For education, the internet is a very important resource. Students can get an education online through different forums. There are many courses which the students can join online. So, in short, the internet helps a lot in the study.

Digital Desk is a digital platform of learning for the students of Gujarat State from standard 1 to 
12 Gujarati Medium/English Medium Arts, Commerce, and Science Students.  Digital Desk is a platform for the students by the GCERT and NJCT's joint efforts. Any teacher, student, parents, or anyone can register for this approach of learning.  It has digital content like Video, Assignment, Mock Test, and much more for the standards of 3 to 12. It has theNCERT Curriculum video. Just Register yourself for it and start learning from home.

So register yourself for it. For the registration process follow the steps given below.


Registration Steps:


  • First of all search GCERT.
  • Open the page you will find a dialogue box for login.
  • First Click on the option sign up for the registration process.
  • A new page will open shows different details like Name, Email id, Mobile Number, Username, Password, etc.
  • First, click on the option Select login. 
  • Now you find options like Studen/Teacher/Mentor/Parent.
  • Select the appropriate option from it.
  • Now enter your details, Enter your full name.
  • Then enter your Email ID and Mobile Number.
  • Enter your username (create username)
  • Now create a secured password that must include uppercase, lowercase, special characters, numbers for login.
  • Now click on the option Register button.
  • You will get a notification like Registration has been done successfully.
  • Now you have completed the whole process.
  • Now enter your username and password for login.
  • Now you will be redirected to the new welcome page of GCERT Digital Desk.
  • First Select your view of the priority to view desk from the options Teacher, Mentor, Parent.
  • Click on the submit menu.
  • Now click on the menu study material.
  • A new page will open showing to select the medium.
  • A new page will open showing standards for 1 to 12 Arts, Commerce, Science Stream.
  • Select the standard.
  • Now select the subject.
  • Click on the video menu, a new Chapterwise video gallery will open there.
  • Click on the chapter and watch it.
  • In the second option named book you find a book of the subject in the pdf.
  • The third option is the test. Select the chapter which you have studied and go through the questions and submit the test.
  • The fourth option is about question Paper. Fill in the necessary details and submit the details.
  • Here you find the score/report of your test. Click on the option view detail, you will find the details of your test.
