Core committee's decision: In the treatment of corona in a private hospital, the card will work, but the cost will be up to Rs 50,000

Corona will be treated in a private hospital in the state, but the cost will be up to Rs 50,000 in 10 days

It was decided to give this benefit to the families holding such cards till 10th July 2021

More than 80 lakh poor and middle-class families in the state will get the biggest relief

An important decision has been taken in the meeting of the Core Committee chaired by the Chief Minister in Gandhinagar. The state government will also provide assistance of Rs 25 lakh to their families and heirs in case of death of any such employee on duty in the crematorium.

The middle class will be able to use the card in private hospitals

From now on, middle-class families in the state will be able to use Maa cards and Vatsalyama cards in the treatment of corona in private hospitals. Up to Rs 50,000 will be eligible for treatment. The core committee has decided that among the poor and middle-class families in the state who have Maa Card and Vatsalya Card if a person becomes infected with Koro, they will have to pay Rs. Within the limit of Rs. 5000, the treatment cost up to Rs. 50,000 for 10 days will be eligible from this card. The Chief Minister has decided to extend this benefit to the families holding such cards till July 10, 2021, in the current state of transition. More than 80 lakh poor and middle-class families in the state will get the biggest relief.

Corona treatment in Ayushman Bharat and Maa Vatsalya card

On April 15, the government filed an affidavit in the High Court before Chief Justice Vikram Nath and Justice Bhargava Karia. It was only after the High Court's suggestion that the government started taking immediate and effective decisions to stop Corona. Also, the treatment of Covid-19 has been included in the Ayushman Bharat and Maa Vatsalya card scheme, he said.
