Online State Level Story Telling Competition by SCOPE.

After the competition of SCOPE English Learning Campaign Programme, now the team is going to organize a competition called the Story Telling Competition for the students of 15 to 25 years. The detailed guidance regarding the storytelling competition is given below. The winners will be rewarded. So kindly go through the guidelines and share them with the maximum students for getting maximum benefits to them.

SCOPE (Society for Creation of Opportunity through proficiency in English) is to build English language proficiency among the youth of Gujarat and thereby to create employment opportunities for them.

We are glad to announce that SCOPE organizes State Level Online English Story Telling Competition

1. Participants are required to fill online participation form and upload their video of the story which will be part of the preliminary round. Entries sent in any other way will not be accepted.

2. The story must be memorized and not read.

3. Hand movements and facial expression are allowed but dramatization is prohibited (the performer shall not use any props and shall remain in one location).

4. The size of the Video shall not exceed 400 MB

5. Participants have to upload Video in .mp4 format

6. The video of the story (including the introduction of participant and topic of the story) will be a minimum of 3 and maximum 5 minutes.

7. The presentation of the story must be delivered in English.

8. Stories presented should be authentic, adapted, and original.

9. Decision of SCOPE will be final and binding to all participants in all matters related to SCOPE State Level Online English Story Telling Competition

10. Participation in storytelling competition will be free of charge

Eligibility :

1. The Storytelling competition is open to all between the age group of 15 to 25 years.

2. The competition consists of two rounds, a preliminary round, and a final round.

3. In the preliminary round participants have to upload their video in participation form of a storytelling competition

4. From the preliminary round, 10 participants will be shortlisted for the final round.

Preliminary Round:

Topics:

1.Happiness

2.Values and Ethics

3. Honesty is the best Policy

4.A person overcoming adversity

5.Sacrifice and /or going beyond call of duty

Evaluation Criteria:

Content (Plot) -20

Pronunciation (clear and accurate) -20

Presentation (body language, expression, emotion)-20

Creativity (make the story becomes alive)-20

Intonation Accuracy (phonation and pitch)-20

Important Dates:

Competition will start from 05/06/2021 and Closing date for receipt of all entries is 20/06/2021.

e-certificate:

All participants will receive an e-certificate of participation within 15 days on their registered mail id. SCOPE will issue an E-certificate of participation to all participants only in soft copy.

No request for Name change in E-certificate will not entertain. Fill up correct details of your name in the Name field and the same will be reflected in the participant's E-certificate of participation.

Winners Prize:

The winners will get the prize in the form of cash, the cash prize is given as per the following way.

1. The first winner will get Rs. 5,000/-

2. The second winner will get Rs. 3,000/-

3. The third winner will get Rs.2,000/-
